… you really oughta try and cheer yourself up!

So, that’s what I did. Today I found two CDs of four from my trip to Germany/Italy a few years ago and decided to have some fun with the tracking shot site, which really rocks. You upload a song, some pics and it’ll work it’s magic for you and create a video. (See the videos at side…. in the blogroll)

Anyways - for your viewing pleasure, please enjoy some time in Koln, Venezia and Roma. Too bad some of my favourite pics are still MIA, but I will find them and update the video sometime….

Europe Trip 2003

Anyways - while going through them I remembered that some of these photos I wanted to turn into a series of paintings… which I hope to still do. I think I will do it sometime soon hopefully, though probably not until May. I have no time between then and now and I’m starting to feel a bit of a burnout coming between work, school and life in general. I need myself a holiday and this video reminded me that I really, really want to travel again. I’ve been thinking of going to Scotland but - we can’t afford it right now. I really do need something to put the zest back into my life because, I’m not feeling zestfully clean these days. But, I know that when the timing is right, the options will open themselves up to us…. to allow us to do some of these things. Right now though, I think a $1500 trip to somewhere isn’t as important as the $1500 we could put towards finishing the basement or doing up a garden in our yard or… well, you get the picture. It’s a luxury we just can’t afford at the moment… but - I almost feel that it’s a luxury we can’t afford NOT to do ’cause, I need refreshing so much and I know Bergy does too…
