I’ll talk about anything from music to love to life to weight to school to work to religion to family to pets to weather to whatever the heck I feel like talking about! You may wonder why I am calling the blog, The Obvious Child. Well, if you know me and you know me well, you will know I’m a huge Paul Simon fan. It’s a song of his from Rhythm of the Saints and it’s always just been “my song” I think. The lyrics just move me…. and right now — as I get closer and closer to the big 3-0, the reflection of my past is encouraging me to make more of my future… and how can you deny me! The Obvious Child! From such a wonderful future? Ya can’t, that’s why!

Amen! That’s how I am feeling right now — reflective, undeciding, uncertain. The last 10 years have most definitely had its ups and its downs but these next 10 years will be super-fantastic because I’m going to do whatever it is I can to make them that way!
